Young Aurelien Suenen took over his family's estate in 2009 and has quickly brought it into the top ranks of Champagne houses. He utilizes natural techniques in the vineyard and cellar while celebrating their most enviable Grand Cru land holdings in the Côtes de Blancs villages of Cramant, Oiry, and Chouilly. Aging takes place mostly in tank with some neutral barrel aging. The result is a crystalline, pure expression of Chardonnay with a true sense of place. Floral, lacy, crisp apple and pear, brioche and stony mineral.
